Content Guidelines

LacunaEngine is a creative tool for visual novels. Mature themes — violence, conflict, death, dark or emotional stories — are allowed. The limits below exist to keep everyone safe and to comply with our AI providers' policies. Violations are blocked automatically where possible and may lead to content removal or account suspension.

Not allowed

• Sexual content involving minors — any sexual or suggestive depiction of a real or fictional person who is, appears to be, or is described as under 18. Zero tolerance. This includes "loli/shota"-style content.
• Pornographic / sexually explicit content — explicit sexual acts, hardcore or fetish pornography, or content whose primary purpose is sexual arousal.
• Non-consensual sexual content — depictions of rape or sexual assault for titillation, and incest or bestiality.
• Illegal instructions — real, actionable instructions for weapons, explosives, or drug synthesis.
• Self-harm encouragement or instructions — content that encourages or provides methods for suicide or self-harm. (Fiction that depicts these themes responsibly is allowed.)
• Real-person abuse — non-consensual intimate imagery, harassment, or impersonation of real people.

Allowed (with care)

• Mature narrative themes: violence, death, horror, crime, trauma, morally complex characters.
• Romance and non-explicit intimacy between adult characters.

Enforcement

We screen prompts before sending them to AI providers and may block requests, remove content, or suspend accounts. If your prompt is blocked and you believe it's a mistake, rephrase it or contact support.
